If you wish to run 2 different slide shows on 2 different monitors, you can do that with PowerShow add-in from
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html

If you want to edit the 2 presentations on different monitors, you would need to stretch PowerPoint's main window across 2 monitors and select "Window" | "Arrange All" menu item to arrange your open presentations side-by-side.
