I've tried entering a newsgroup name instead of a domain name in the junk mail blocking rule. It seems to delete some message threads crossposted to that newsgroup, but not all of them.

I've also tried subscribing to microsoft.public.windows.vista.general under Microsoft Communities instead of under my ISP's newsgroup server, where I got it before. With this connection, I see only messages that aren't crossposted to a newsgroup with a name not starting with microsoft.public, so that's a major improvement.
