Hi

I'm having a similar problem on a new PC with Vista.

When I create a new message and hit "send" the message goes to the Outbox and stays there. Similarly if I reply to a mail it just goes to the Outbox. "Send & Receive" does nothing.

I can close Windows Mail, open it again and then hit "Send & Receive" & the message will go but the Outbox still has the number of messages next to it even once it is empty.

I've disconnected the email scanning in Norton & I've downloaded the fix but it made no difference. I've also upgraded to Norton 360 with and without scanning but to no avail. I've just uninstalled Norton entirely and added AVG instead both with and without email scanning applied and the result is identical ... no change.

I can't think of anything else to do now. Any ideas?

Thanks

Gerry
