That was a very detailed response, but ultimately not successful. After
spending 3.5 hours with a Dell rep on my new computer, I recontacted
Hughes.net who informed me that saved passwords in IE were blocking my log in
for my email. We deleted those, reset my password and now Windows Mail is
working--with McAfee reinstalled. If I have more problems, I will look to the
virus software first--but in this case it was just a little dirt in the
cracks, so to speak, that needed to be cleaned out.
